The only hole where they failed to score three points was the seventh.

The windy conditions and a few heavy showers did not prevent the pair scoring 20 points on the back nine, their only single point coming at the short 13th. This gave them a winning total of 46 points.

Despite such a breath-taking round, they had only one point to spare over John Price (9) and Trevor Doak (24).

They had 22 points at the turn but Trevor’s birdie four at the 12th followed by John’s birdie two at 13 gave them seven points for two holes and 23 points on the back nine.

Early starters Chris Davis (20) and Chris Warwick (22) combined well to score 24 points after the first nine.

The highlight was Chris Warwick’s monster putt for a birdie two at the fourth for four points. They finished weakly with a five at the last hole for 19 points on the back nine for a total of 43.

Gregory Law (12) and Darren Welsh (11) had 22 points on the front nine. They could only manage two three pointers on the back nine thanks to Darren’s pars at 10 and 16 for 20 points and a total of 42.

Keith McCrum (10) and Andrew Neill (11) combined well over the front nine to accumulate 23 points. They could only manage 19 on the back nine to finish with 42 points.
