WEEK twelve of Rockmount Golf Club’s 2012/2013 Andrew Annett winter league competition never got started as the heavy snow on Friday evening and Saturday morning left the course covered in a thick blanket of the white stuff. Week eleven scores have been totalled and added to last week’s scores.

In league A, ‘Handcuffed to an Idiot’ 566 lead from ‘Reece’s Wonders’ 563, who leapfrogged over ‘Anything but Hockey’ 553 and opened up a massive ten point advantage on them at the same time. In league B, first and second have remained in the same positions ‘Oggie and the Sprinkler Heads’ have 580 and ‘This is Madness’ have 577 in second place. In league C, team ‘Life without Brian’ 575 have opened an eight point gap on ‘TBA’ 567 having been level on points last week. In league D, the long-time leaders ‘Frankly Awful’ have 571 but there seventeen point advantage has been cut to seven points by ‘Shanksville Duffers’ 564. ‘Joseph’s Dream Team’ 554 second last week have dropped four places to sixth place.

The scores take into account the four dropped scores. In the singles competition’s (0-13) section; Andrew Mulholland and Mark Stewart are level on 187 points; in (13.1-18.5) section there are joint leaders Frank Wallace and Stephen Gilmore both with 191 points; in (18.6-28) section Frank McCourt 189 has jumped from third with Peter Rowntree 187 remaining in second place. Weather permitting the Andrew Annett winter league competition will resume on Saturday January 26.
