SPORTSMANS CUP FINAL

MAGHABERRY A 6 DUNMURRY INN 0

THE final in the Sportsmans Cup was a one-sided affair with Maghaberry A beating Dunmurry Inn 6-0, when the finals were held in the First Blues Lisburn and District Dart League this week.

Maghaberry A winners were A. Johnstone (100), S. Hull (100), R. Ellis (100), P. Kirkwood (100) and I. Gardiner (2x100).

BYRNES B 0 MAGHABERRY A 6

IN the first semi-final Maghaberry a were far too strong for Byrnes B running out 6-0 victors. Hitting the target were B. Hull (100), D. Hull, A. Finnie (100), P. Presho (100), S. Hull and K. Lavery (100).

DUNMURRY INN 6 BALLINDERRY A 2

THE second semi final saw Dunmurry Inn sprint into a 3-0 lead with wins from W. McGardle, W. McMorran, J. Reid Jnr (100). Ballinderry A pulled back two games with wins by K. McDonald (2x100, 140) and R. Gorman. Alas, this was their limit as Dunmurry won neat three through S. Allen, B. Halliday and N. Cummins for a 6-2 victory.

BALLYMACASH 6

BELFAST INDOOR BOWLING CLUB 3

IN a rearranged first division match, Ballymacash defeated Belfast Indoor Bowling Club 6-3.

Ballymacash winners were I. Ringland (2x100, 140, 19x20 darts), A. Presho (4x100, 140, 21 darts), S. Parker (2x100, 140, 18 darts), T. Bustard (2x100, 140, 17 darts), P. McKeown (100, 140), S. Crossey (2x100). B. I. B. C. winners were M. Ferguson (5x100, 140), B. Greer (2x100) and S. Bunting (100).

All teams are requested to return their league individual entries at next delegates meeting on February 18.
