John inspires St Colman’s Dunmurry

JOHN Law inspired St Colman’s Dunmurry with a 10 shots win which set them on the way to a seven shots victory over Derryvolgie and five points in Section C of the Ulster Star Lisburn Indoor Bowling League.

Harry Magihon won the first three ends to lead 4-0 but Law took the remaining ends and icluded a seven to gain the ten shots win.

At the fifth Brian Turner was 5-2 ahead but he failed to score again and Jack Bratty came back, finishing with three, one to win by three shots.

Ronnie Maye started with three singles and was 5-2 ahea at the seventh but Kathleen McCullough finished with two and three to win by two shots.

A five at the third gave John Campbell a 6-2 lead, but Ken McCreight came back with a four and a six to lead 12-8 at the sixth. Dunmurry added one, two to make it 11-12 with an end left but Derryvolgie added a last end single.
