HIGHWAYMEN were in seventh heaven in the Lisnagarvey Darts League this week as they demlolished their hosts Hillsborough A 7-3.
Starring for Highwaymen were I. Keery (100), E. Mullan (137), N. Cameron (100), W. Mullan, M. Lilley (137), J. Bishorek (20 darts) and B. Flanagan (100).
Replying for Hillsborough were D. Morgan, C. McClements (100) and J. Murray.
BALLYMAC 6 WHITES 4
THERE was a fine victory for Ballymac in the league this week as they defeated Whites 6-4.
The hosts took the spoils with wins from A. Skelton (2x100), S. Morrison (140), J. Graham (100), E. Phillips (100), B. Morrison and D. Armstrong.
Winning for Whites were J. Robson (19 darts, 112, 2x100), A. Moulds, I. Crothers (100, 140) and J. Hamilton (2x100, 115).
SANDYMOUNT 3 ANVIL 7
ANVIL turned on the style as they secured a superb 7-3 victory on their visit to Sandymount this week.
Earning the spoils in style for the visitors were J. Jess, D. Taylor (100), D. Dawson, D. Jess, M. Wood (100), F. Jamison (100) and M. Thompson (21 darts, 100).
Sandymount winners were K. Minford, A. Houston (140) and I. Mitchell (122, 140).
BORDERERS 7 BEATTIE 3
BORDERERS got the better of their visitors Beattie with a superb 7-3 victory.
Starring for Borderers were J. Cairns, A. Blair (2x100), A. Little, W. Warnock, T. Miller, J. Little and D. Blair.
Replying for Beattie were N. Watson, N. Walker (100) and A. Poots.
BENMORE 3 DUNMURRY C/C 7
BENMORE suffered defeat at the hands of Dunmurry C/C as the visitors captured a fantastic 7-3 victory.
Securing the spoils for Dunmurry were K. Watson, D. Johnson (140), C. Waterworth (140), S. McCurley, M. Guy (21 darts, 140, 101 o/s), B. Jackson (100) and D. Scott (100).
Home winners were R. McClean (19 darts, 2x100, 140), A. Dalzell (125) and R. Somerville (100, 125).
FIRST BLUES 5 DERRIAGHY C/C 5
IT was all square as First Blues and Derriaghy C/C fought out a five-all draw.
First Blues winners were S. Childs, G. Bell, D. Toole (140), B. Mawhinney (20 darts, 140) and S. White (102 o/s).
Derriaghy winners were J. Millen (2x100), D. Meehan, J. Millen Snr (100, 140), A. McCusker and A. Terrington (100).
THE Lisnagarvey Darts League Pairs will be played in the Hilden Blowing Club Rooms tonight (Friday) with last call over at 8.20pm. The draw will be made at 8.25pm, with an 8.30pm start for the competition.
The Delegates meeting will be held in the Derriaghy Rooms on Monday, January 14.
