CHARITY CUP FINAL

BYRNES A 6 MAGHABERRY A 5

BYRNES A triumphed in the Charity Cup final in the First Blues Lisburn and District Dart League, following a superb final with Maghaberry A.

Byrnes secured the trophy with a narrow 6-5 victory in what was a great final.

It was nip and tuck all the way with brilliant scoring and finishing.

Byrnes A won the last two games for the narrow win.

Winning for Byrnes A were D. Geddis (100), M. McLarnon (180, 18 darts), E. Wright (100), D. Woolsey (140, 21 darts), S. Lennon (134) and R. Montgomery (125, 2x100, 16 darts).

Maghaberry winners were I. Gardiner (2x100, 135, 19 darts), B. Hull (125), M. Agnew, M. Murdoch and P. Presho (2x100, 21 darts).

Congratulations to both teams for a great final.

SEMI FINALS

MAGHABERRY A 6 MARKETVIEW 2

MAGHABERRY A took the early advantage with wins from A. Johnston (137), J. McConnachie (2x100) and I. Gardiner (140).

Marketview pulled two back with wins from R. Dean and K. Bowden, however they could not add to their tally.

Maghaberry booked their place in the final winning the next three games through A. Finnie, B. Hull (2x100, 18 darts) and P. Kirkwood (125, 140).

BYRNES A 6 BALLINDERRY 1

BALLINDERRY started brightly in their semi final, with M. Yeates (2x100, 16 darts) taking the lead.

Byrnes A came to life and wins from N. Peden (100), N. Dunwoodie (100, 17 darts), B. Cathcart (3x100, 140, 17 darts), G. Bell (100), D. Woolsey, R. Montgomery (2x100, 21 darts), wrapped up the semi final.
