Now the 24-year-old has a number of British Supersport wins under his belt and has ambitions of competing on the world stage. “Hopefully I’ll get another year’s worth of experience before I look at moving to the worlds,” he told the school’s website.
Irwin said his education has helped his sporting career. “I have to meet a lot of potential sponsors all the time,” he said. “The skills of communicating with people, as well as the basic manners school teaches you, are vital to doing this well.”
Everyone at Larne Grammar would like to wish Glenn the very best for the rest of this Supersport season.
