Garvey will be full of confidence after an away win at Monkstown last weekend.

Banbridge, currently eight points behind leaders Garvey, will be very keen to upset the Garvey unbeaten run since the Monkstown defeat back in October.

The game should be another top quality affair with both sides packed with current Irish squad players and a close result almost a certainty with the home side probably being slight favourites, only because of their recent outstanding form.

The last encounter between the two teams was extremely close with Garvey scraping home with a 2-1 win after a gripping match at Havelock Park.

Match winners are abundant on both sides; Mikey Watt, Sean Murray and Timmy Cockram for Garvey, while Banbridge always have the threat of the Stephen Dowds’ penalty corners, the Magee brothers, Eugene and Owen and Bruce McCandless.

A great match is expected as is large support for both teams and it starts at Comber Road at 3p.m.
