PJ is top in round four of MUSA
With home advantage, Banbridge were hoping for four high scores and a move up the league table.
They scored well but not sensational.
P.J. Johnston was best with 39 points. Sydney Pepper was next best with 38 points.

Hide AdPeter Hillen had a steady 36 points and Tony Ewbanks added 35 points.
That gave Banbridge a team total of 148 points. It was good but it was not the best of the day. Ardglass had 157 points, Tandragee had 153 and Portadown had 149.
After four rounds, Tandragee lead the MUSA with 575 points. Portadown and Lisburn are joint second with 571 points each.
Banbridge are certainly not out of it. They are in fifth place with 552 points.
The next round is this week at Lurgan Golf Club.
Just for the record, the other four players at Banbridge were Felix Duffy, Eamon O’Hagan, John McCormac and Patrick McAleenan.
