Nick Beta joins the club having previously been on the books at Glentoran.

The 20 year old scored a brace as the Whites overcame Derriaghy CCFC 4-1. Alan McMurtry netted a penalty while Paul Young was also on target.Jordan Baker scored for Derriaghy.

After signing his contract, Beta, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, scored again on Tuesday night in a 2-2 draw with Harryville Homers.

On Saturday, the Whites host East Belfast at 2pm before Linfield make the visit to New Grosvenor on Thursday (28th July) for a 7.15pm kick-off.

On Saturday 30th July, Distillery welcome Shankill United (kick-off 3pm) for a friendly which will be followed by a Night at the Races.
