Whites can have a late say in a tight title race

Lisburn Distillery could yet have a say in the Championship One promotion race as they host title-chasing Bangor at New Grosvenor on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

The Seasiders need a win to be sure of a play-off place and could even snatch the title in the unlikely event Carrick slip up against Dundela.

“It’s not going to be easy,” conceded Whites boss Tommy Kincaid.

“Bangor are coming with a lot to play for so they’ll be going into this one determined to get the win they need.

“I’m not thinking about them or about Ards or Carrick though. All I’m concerned about is making sure we do well for Distillery and with our presentations after the game, we want to get a good result to end the season with.”

After Saturday’s fixture, the club will host their annual Night at the Races and will follow that with the Player of the Season awards presentation in the social club at New Grosvenor.

In attendance will be 13 well-travelled members of the Lisburn Distillery Scandinavian Supporters Club, who are flying in to see the Whites’ final game of what has been an arduous season.
