With the match being broadcast live on Sky Sports, Wallace High School pupil Thomas said tomorrow night’s match is the ‘biggest game’ of his life.

Northern Ireland Under 16 Manager Stephen Robinson has named a squad of 20 players for the international match at Stangmore Park Dungannon, kick off 7.00 pm.

Robinson has added midfielder Roscoe, as well as striker Jack McCourt to the panel of 18 which defeated Scotland 2-1 at St Mirren Park in the opening game last week.

Speaking about the match, Thomas commented: “This is easily the biggest game of my life and, with it being on Sky Sports, it’s a great opportunity for myself going forward in football.

“I wasn’t involved in the first game so this is my debut in the Victory Shield. I can’t wait to start training with the squad and being involved in the match day for Friday night.”

England Manager Steve Cooper has made nine changes to the squad which lost 1-0 to Wales at Bangor last Friday.
