Six new teams to join with leagues for coming season

There are six new teams in the South Antrim League next season with two new entries and the other four being reserve additions to teams already in the League.

Village Rec return to the League in Division ONe after a couple of seasons out and Ballymacash Rangers have placed a new third eleven in Division Two.

First Lisburn, Cregagh Wanderers and South Antrim have added second elevens, while Clonduff YM bring in a third eleven.

Two teams will not be in the league during the coming season - Stranmillis II and Clarawood YM.

In the Premier Division, Clonduff YM, South Antrim, FC Utd Lisburn and 1st Lisburn are promoted, with Ballynafeigh YM, Bloomfield III and Orangefield OB III being relegated to leave 11 teams in the top flight.

The three relegated teams are added to Division One with Braniel YM II, Cregagh Wanderers, Clonduff YM II, FC Utd Lisburn II and Lisburn Athletic all moving up. New boys, Village Rec will play in this division.

Ballymacash Rangers III join Division Two along with Moira Albion II, who played in Division One last season.

Clonduff YM III, Cregagh Wanderers II and South Antrim II slot into this division.

The set up for the new season at present reads:

PREMIER DIVISION: 1st Lisburn, Ballymacash YM, Belvoir FC, Braniel YM, Clonduff YM, FC Utd Lisburn, Glaston, Lambeg Rangers, Sandy Row, South Antrim, Warren YM.

DIVISION 1: Ballymacash YM II, Ballynafeigh, Belvoir FC II, Bloomfield III, Braniel YM II, Clonduff YM, Cregagh Wanderers, FC Utd Lisburn II, Lisburn Athletic, Orangefield OB III, Victoria Athletic, Village Rec.

DIVISION 2: 1st Lisburn II, Ballymacash Rangers III, Ballymacash YM III, Carrowdore YM, Clonduff YM III, Cregagh Wanderers II, Glenavy III, Lambeg Rangers II, Moira Albion II, Newtown Forest III, South Antrim II, Warren YM II.
