Lisburn started brightly however, and got their noses in front early on thanks to a great goal involving new signing Ritchie Patterson who arrived from Glentoran and Ross Hunter.

The pair of them worked well together on the left hand side before Hunter got passed two men at the by line before sliding it across for the oncoming Faulkner to make it 1-0.

Windmill drew level from the penalty spot. It has to be said, the penalty decision was beyond everyone’s belief however, the referee pointed to the spot and Windmill dispatched the penalty well.

Lisburn fought back and Tyler Bain was leading by example in the middle of the park.

It was indeed Bain who put Lisburn back in front after again Patterson and Hunter worked it down the left and the cross was met by the head of Bain.

After words were spoke at halftime and the team were fired up, Lisburn came out second half and completely blew Windmill away with pace, power and quality on the ball all over the pitch.
