Rangers extend winning run

Ballymacash Rangers extended their winning run on Saturday morning to eight games in the South Belfast League U15 and opened up a three point lead at the top of the table over Taughmonagh who weren’t in action at the weekend.

Jake Ross gave Rangers an early lead from the penalty spot after Adam Wright was brought down inside the box.

Adam Wright then got the second goal soon after, before Loughside pulled a goal back.

Just before half time Jake Ross scored from the penalty spot again, this time after Thomas Rea was fouled in the area.

Rangers dominated the second half and Ben Thompson made the game safe when he got on the end of a Kyle Nelson cross to score Rangers fourth.Loughside pulled a goal back with the last kick of the game but Rangers were delighted to leave with the three points in what is always a difficult fixture.
