The girls took the game to CSP early on and were creating a few good chances but failed to find the final ball or shot to trouble the keeper.

With the game limited to 30 minutes a half and 9-aside there was plenty of space down the wings for Caitlin S and Chloe to run into and most of the play was coming through these areas.

It was Chloe who made the breakthrough on the 18- minute mark with a smart low shot into the bottom corner.

On 22 mins Tiarna found herself played in down the middle and, one on one with the keeper, slotted home to give the girls breathing space.

But on 26 minutes a long ball over the top found three CSP players onside and they were able to slot home to make it 2-1 at half time.

Just three minutes into the second half and Tiarna got her second of the game.

On 49 mins Shane was fouled before getting her shot off and Caitlin S made it 5-1 from the resulting penalty.

After 53 mins CSP scored from a corner to take the score to 5-2.

On 56 mins Sarah broke the offside trap and smashed the ball past the keeper for a final score of 6-2 and all three points.

Good play for the most part from the girls but they really need to take advantage of good scoring opportunities when they arise.

They could be crucial against the big two.

Nonetheless, three points secured and it puts the girls joint top of the league with Crusaders having played one more game.
