The Whites are fresh off the back of a stunning 5-1 win over PSNI, a third result in a row when they’ve been down to 10 men.

Those results mean they go into Saturday’s trip to Ballyclare Comrades (kick-off 3pm) looking up the table.

“If we’re getting these results with 10 men, what are we going to do when we keep 11 on the pitch?” said Kincaid.

“I’m not going to say we’re setting the place on fire at the minute but our efforts and endeavour are now being rewarded with a few results.

“It’s only a few results though. Now we’ve got to keep that going.

“A couple of wins in this league and you’re right up there but if you drop your guard at all, a couple of defeats and you’re right back down again.

“We’re going up there confident because of the way we’re playing but Ballyclare will make things very difficult. One thing about them is that they always work hard.

“They’re a good side with good players so it’ll be a hard game for us.”

Distillery will be without Joe McDonnell, who was sent off against PSNI. With three of his players issued a red card in as many matches, boss Kincaid is calling on the league’s referees not to put their hand in their pocket so quickly.

“Sometimes the players have done silly things but sometimes the referees get the first yellow card out too quickly. Then they have to produce a red later on.”

Kincaid was nonetheless delighted with his side’s efforts in last weekend’s 5-1 victory.

“It was nice to score two or three goals when we were down to 10 men. It was just pleasing to get a few goals. We were disappointed to concede one but if somebody had told me we’d win like that, I’d have broken your arm for it.”
