FOOTBALL: Ex-Rangers boss handed role at Cliftonville
Former Carrick Rangers boss Stephen Small has been handed a new role at Cliftonville Football Club.
Gerard Lyttle was confirmed as Tommy Breslin’s successor at the Reds on Thursday morning and Small has been named in his backroom team as an Opposition Analyst.
Small led Carrick to the Premiership in 2011, winning the Championship 1 title as well as the Intermediate Cup.
Former Northern Ireland international defender Mal Donaghy is Lyttle’s assistant, and Ricky McCann has been named as Head of Sport Science at the Solitude club.
