Distillery and Rangers Open Days coming up

Lisburn Distillery FC are holding a family open day and health fair at New Grosvenor Stadium, home of Lisburn’s only Irish League Club.

The event is this Saturday and is for all ages and entry is totally free.

The day includes a bouncy castle, treasure hunt, penalty kick competition, mini soccer, health fair, cafe distillery, refreshments and more.

Under 16s will even get free season tickets for the coming season.

At 3pm, Lisburn Distillery will face St Pat’s Athletic in their final friendly as they get their preparations underway for the league season beginning on Saturday 9 August.

Distillery’s league season begins at New Grosvenor, where they host Knockbreda before taking on Castlestar, also at New Grosvenor, in the Steel and Sons Cup a week later.

Lisburn Rangers

Lisburn Rangers Academy will be holding Open Days on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August at Stanley Park behind the omniplex.

This is a great opportunity for new players to put themselves forward with a possibility of signing for the club, age groups 2002-2006 are all welcome.

The club believe in equal playing time for all in a small sided game situation, coaching will be lead by Paul Kirk who holds a UEFA Pro Licence.

Anyone born 2000 who wants to try out for Lisburn Youth Under 15’s 2014-15 squad should contact Ciaran on 07864 088 520.
