Derriaghy’s Dennis takes top spot in NIPA race

Derriaghy man Dennis Irvine clocked the winning bird from Tullamore taking a good Section and Open position in the NIPA race last weekend.

He also bagged fifth and sixth spot while John and Abernethy, owners of Harmony Lofts outside Annahilt, secured second, third and fourth.

Tomorrow (Saturday) will see the start of the Harmony Lofts Old Bird Hot Spot racing and the winning velocity will collect £50.

Their mid-week racing from Navan will commence on Wednesday 23 April. Birds will be race marked Tuesday 22nd at Harmony Lofts between 7pm and 9pm. Prize money: £50, £30, £20.
