The St John’s Moira Open Singles starts on Tuesday and continues till Friday with the finals on Saturday night at 7.00pm sharp.

Date for Zone meeting

The annual meeting of the Lisburn Zone will take place in Derriaghy Parish Hall on Monday, April 28 at 7.30pm.

Each club is entitled to have two voting delegates and other club members are welcome to attend.

Roy falls in semi-finals

The Priesthill Methodist triple of Michelle Wright, David Lee and Roy Kennedy reached the semi-finals of the Hillsborough Social Open Triples Tournament on Thursday night, only to lose to Robert Hastings, Ballywalter.

Stuart McSorley, St Mark’s Portadown beat Seamus Kyne, Lafarge, Magherafelt in the other semi-final and went on to beat Hastings in the final.

Seymour Street tournaments start

The annual Summer indoor bowling tournaments at the Seymour Street Methodist, Lisburn club will start on Monday 5 May at 7.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along any Monday night until Monday 30 June.

An enjoyable evening of fun is assured and the cost is only £2 each night.
