PARTY ON - AFTER VICTORY

CHAMPIONS elect Linfield are in no party mood as they bid to end the league campaign in style at Seaview on Saturday.
The title is only Linfield's to lose - with a plus seven goal difference and three points to spare - it would take the biggest collapse in the history of the league for the Blues to miss out.
While the Blues can go into the clash with Crusaders in
a more relaxed mood, manager David Jeffrey is again demanding a victory.
"I told the players before the game last week we needed two more wins and that is still the way I want it to pan out," said Jeffrey. "I don't want to win it on goal difference or if Portadown happen to do us a favour - I want to win it on points. Clear winners and champions for a third year in a row."
Jeffrey will not rest any players despite an Irish Cup final date with Coleraine looming the following week - the team that did so well last weekend at Glenavon will again tackle the Crues.
"We will start to think about the cup final after Saturday. Let's get this final league game out of the way first."
Jeffrey, who said the race was over following the Glenavon game admitted he did not think the Blues would get back into the race after the draw at Lisburn Distillery. "To be honest I felt we had lost our best chance and I said at the time it was over to Cliftonville," added Jeffrey. "I really could not see them blowing up again after last season, but we got back into it again when they started dropping points. Now we are into the final Saturday and on top and with an advantage that should help carry us to our third title in three years."
