LINFIELD secured their third league title in a row with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Crusaders at Seaview in the final game of the league season.
Fans spilled onto the pitch as the Gibson Trophy was presented to skipper Noel Bailie.
Two goals from Glenn Ferguson and one from Mark Dickson clinched title number 48 for Linfield and the sixth for manager David Jeffrey.
"I never get tired of winning titles," said skipper Noel Bailie who has played a staggering 936 times for the Blues. "It feels just as good now as it did the first time. The whole team worked hard all season and we had to win the last two games to make certain.
"I have no intention of hanging up the boots yet - hopefully I will be around next season to try and do it again."
The Blues will now aim for the double when they face Coleraine in the Irish Cup final next Saturday at Windsor Park - kick-off at 2.45pm.
A win would seal three doubles in a row - a feat not achieved in 114 years.
Lisburn Distillery finished off a superb season with a 2-0 victory at Institute, Curtis Allen scored both the goals.
The Whites finished in an impressive fourth place.
