LISBURN Distillery manager Paul Kirk has said their Intertoto adventure had made his side want to compete in European football again - only this time he wants them to go further.
The Whites boss was speaking after his side's 3-1 defeat to Finnish side TPS Turku in the Intertoto Cup last Sunday.

Paul Kirk.
Kirk commented, "I want more of it, there's no doubt about it. I watched a DVD of the match afterwards, and I had believed we played well, but I didn't realise how well we played until I watched the DVD. Andy Kilmartin was the best player on the pitch.
"We are the first team to score an away goal for Distillery in Europe, we have scored two goals at home and one away so it was not a disgrace by any stretch of the imagination.
"The way we played and the composure we showed was brilliant. I would applaud the players and pay tribute to the supporters who were very vocal. We had more supporters there than they brought here, they were tremendous as always," he said.
