Update: Railway line at Lurgan re-opened after incident

The railway line at Lurgan has reopened following an earlier incident in which a van was hijacked.

Superintendent Davy Moore said: “Lake Street has been re-opened following a van being set on fire at the railway junction early this morning. The railway line has also re-opened.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact detectives in Lurgan on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Petrol bomnbs were also thrown at police during the incident.
