TUV Lagan Valley Assembly candidate Lyle Rea has appealed to the public to vote for change.
He said: “Going round the doors over the last few weeks has underscored to me the reality that Unionists are unhappy with the way things are going.
“There is widespread recognition that while Stormont may be working for the political establishment it is not working for the people.
“Many have been turned off politics completely by the expenses scandals, the deadlock and the inability to deliver.
“I would appeal to those people to join the growing band of Unionists turning to TUV.
“People recognise that TUV is the party which has constantly exposed waste and squander and held the executive to account. People are fed up with Stormont but there is no point complaining about the way things are and then going out and voting for the same old parties of failure and deadlock.
“My message to the people of Lagan Valley is simple - Demand change. Strengthen Jim Allister’s hand. Vote TUV on 5 May.”
