Thanksgiving at Loanends Presbyterian

“All good gifts around us” is the theme for Loanends Presbyterian Church’s Harvest Thanksgiving Festival taking place from 16th to 18th October.

A Massey Ferguson 735 combine and other implements of yesteryear will be on display in the church grounds.

Inside the church, each organisation connected to the congregation is arranging a display depicting their activities.

All the usual harvest displays of flowers, fruit and vegetables will be located in the church hall for visitors to view while enjoying tea or coffee and something tasty to eat.

Loanends Primary School choir are taking part in the opening service at 2.00 pm on Friday 16th and the festival remaining open until 9.00 pm.

On Saturday 17th October the opening times on the day will be 10.00 am to 9.00 pm.

Morning worship will be held at 10.40 am on Sunday 18th

The church will be open again from 2.00 pm with the closing service at 7.30 pm when Rev Desi Paul is to be the guest speaker.

Join the members at the church located on the Seven Mile Straight, over the weekend as they give thanks for all God’s goodness to us in once again providing a bountiful harvest.
