Bookworms are invited to The Argory this coming Saturday and Sunday to stock up on those all-important page turners to see you through the autumn and winter months.

The Courtyard will once again be filled with a vast array of second-hand books to suit all tastes and interests.

The National Trust property, near Moy, opened its second-hand bookshop over six years ago and has since been managed single-handedly by a team of local volunteers.

Over the years the event has proved extremely popular with members of the public coming from over a wide area.

Kids can enjoy story-telling in the Courtyard from The Argory Governess and live music and a sizzling BBQ will be in full swing (Sunday only).

Throughout the weekend, visitors can also hear more about the MacGeough Bonds on a tour of this unique Irish gentry house.

Sit back and enjoy home baked cakes, scones and teas in the Courtyard Coffee Shop or buy something nice in the shop, packed full with an extensive range of products for the home and garden.

Just 10 minutes from The Argory, Ardress House will also be open to visitors. Take a gentle walk along ‘The Ladies Mile’, say hello to the farmyard animals and feed the chickens. Take a tour of Ardress House to discover the history behind the charming 17th century farmhouse.

The Argory Book Fair will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 3-4, from 12-5pm. Gift Aid Admission: Adult £5.50, Child £2.50, Family £13.50. National Trust Members Free.
