The owners, staff and customers of the Costcutter store in Hillhall have helped to support local youth projects by making a generous donation to the Resurgam Trust.

Owners Jeffrey and Adeline Williamson recently decided to do some fundraising for the Trust, which works with people of all ages and backgrounds across the Lisburn area.

Thanks to the efforts of staff and customers, a fantastic total of £200 was raised, which will go directly towards helping sustain youth projects in the Hillhall area.

“We are very grateful that Jeffrey and Adeline thought of ourselves as the beneficiaries for their recent fundraising,” said Vince Curry, Resurgam Trust Fundraising Manager.

“As a charity we are very reliant on fundraising, most of which is done by ourselves. But this example of working together shows how local businesses can support local charities, which in turn helps local people.”

Any other local businesses interested in getting involved in fundraising for the Resurgam Trust should call Vince on 028 9267 0755.
