Resurgam Trust held their annual networking breakfast on Friday, June 3 between 8am and 9.30am in LaganView Enterprise Centre.

This year the senior management team decided to coincide the date of the breakfast after the Northern Ireland Assembly elections so they could invite the newly elected MLAs for Lagan Valley.

They also invited all the elected representatives from Lisburn Castlereagh City Council.

The morning followed the usual format in breakfast followed by a presentation from Trust director, Adrian Bird.

This outlined the strategic themes Resurgam are working towards in their vision of becoming sustainable, outlining the networks and partnership working on this journey.

Following this there was a question and answer session with Resurgam key staff who answered questions from the floor.

New Minister for Communities Paul Givan MLA closed the breakfast with an assurance that his department would be working closely with Resurgam in rolling the model out to other communities.

He said he would ensure Resurgam was supported.
