Railway Street Presbyterian to host variety concert
Formed over 70 years ago, Baillies Mills Accordion Band has performed all over Ireland and as far away as Norway, while last year it was given the honour of leading the Battle of Flowers Parade in Jersey.
Karen Elliott, on behalf of Railway Street’s Fundraising Committee, commented: “This year the band will be taking part in London’s Lord Mayor’s Parade, so we are honoured to have them perform for us here in Lisburn, along with other talented local artists including Noel McMaster of Bakerloo Junction and Conal McCartney who will perform a few songs from the new CD ‘Made in Belfast’ which is a tribute to the Titanic.”
