The ladies of First Lisburn Presbyterian Women held their visitors’ night recently.

Visitors from Cargycreevy, First Dromara, Railway Street and St. Columbas PW were welcomed to First Lisburn.

A special welcome went to Mothers’ Union members from Christ Church and Derryvolgie Parish.

Guest speaker for the evening was Mrs Catherine Campbell, a well known author of many Christian books, and described as “a very accomplished speaker”.

A spokesperson said: “She held her audience enthralled throughout.

“After a delicious supper, the MFI drama group entertained the ladies with a funny rendition of ‘The Party’s Over’.

“Mrs Margaret Todd of Cargycreevy Fellowship expressed thanks on behalf of the visitors for the warm welcome and the hospitality.

“Before departing the visitors were invited to take a little gift box from the gift box tree, as a memento of their visit to First Lisburn.

“The beautiful gift boxes were made and displayed by Mrs Irene Richer.”
