McKay encourages people to wear an Easter Lily
Speaking at the North Antrim launch in Dunloy Mr McKay said:
“Easter is a very special time for Irish Republicans. It is a time not only when we commemorate the heroic acts that took place in Dublin in 1916 but it is also a time when we remember all the brave men and woman who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their pursuit of creating a better Ireland.
“Wearing an Easter Lily is an outward display of remembrance for their sacrifice made on our behalf, and I would encourage as many people to wear a Lily this Easter.”
