Man charged in connection with burglaries

Police in Lisburn have charged a 20-year-old man with a total of 13 offences after a number of incidents in the city yesterday (August, 19).

He has been charged with 6 counts of burglary, theft, theft from vehicle, 3 counts of interference with vehicles, possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class C controlled drug. He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Monday, 22 August.

The charges are in connection with a number of burglaries and thefts in the Moira Road, Flush Park and Laganville Park areas of Lisburn early yesterday morning, Friday.
