The M&S stores in Lisburn are warming up to support an extra special coffee morning this September as it plans to raise a cup of coffee and a slice of cake in aid of the 25th anniversary of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The stores at Sprucefield and Bow Street Mall will join forces with M&S Cafés nationwide to host a coffee morning on Friday 25th September in celebration of the flagship fundraising event, and is calling on their customers to join in too.

From September 1 M&S customers will also be able to enjoy a host of tasty treats on sale in M&S Food Halls with 10 percent of each sale going to Macmillan.

Patrice Ash, Store Manager at M&S Lisburn, said: “Macmillan is a cause that is close to many people’s hearts, including many of our employees, which is why we want to make this year’s event our most successful yet. It would also be fantastic to be able to raise more funds than ever before to help mark the 25th birthday of the popular World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Above all, the event provides a great excuse to gather together with friends, family, or work colleagues, enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake, all in aid of a very worthy cause.”
