Woman assaulted

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following the report of an assault on a woman in the Windermere area of Lisburn between 8.30pm on Tuesday 13 November and the early hours of Wednesday, November 14.

The woman was assaulted by a male during this time and attended hospital for treatment to her injuries, though they are not believed to be life threatening.

It’s understood there was a second male involved in the assault. The first male is described as being tall and approximately 17/18 years old with spiky brown hair with blonde running through it. He was wearing black clothing with winter type gloves. The second male is described as being approximately 18 years old and also wearing black clothing.

Police are also investigating a line of inquiry that there was possibly more than two males involved in this assault and are keen to hear from anyone who can assist them with their inquiries.

Detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who noticed males matching these descriptions in the Windermere area anytime between 8.30pm on Tuesday, November 13 and the early hours of Wednesday morning November 14 or who has any information regarding this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Detectives would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have been in this area between the specified times to also contact them as they may have information which would help with their enquiries.
