Teen attacked in Lisburn

LISBURN police are investigating an attack and robbery on a 17-year-old male in the city on February 24.

The teenager was walking along Longstone Street at around 4.30am when he was approached from behind by a group of males.

These males pulled the victim’s coat over his head and punched him to the ground. While on the ground he was kicked and punched again before his wallet, phone and keys were taken from his pockets. The males then ran off. The victim sustained bruising and swelling to his head and face as well as swelling to his hand.

It’s believed up to six males were involved in the attack. One was described as between 5’10-11” tall, slim build and wearing all white. A second is believed to have been a similar height and build and was wearing a red hoodie
