Sheds and garages ransacked in Lambeg and Derriaghy
ALCOHOL, paint and golf balls were among a number of items that were stolen following a number of incidents of burglary and criminal damage in the Lambeg and Derriaghy areas on Monday night, March 18.
It was reported that sometime during that night a number of garages and garden sheds in the Station Road and Aberdelghy Gardens areas of Lambeg and in the Kingsway and Aughrim Court areas of Derriaghy had been entered and ransacked.
Paint was also sprayed on a number of cars and properties in the Aberdelghy Gardens area.
Police are investigating a link between these incidents and two males believed to be involved were seen in the Aberdelghy Gardens area at approximately 3.20am.
One is described as wearing a dark coloured hooded top and one was wearing a white coloured hooded top.
Police would ask anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed these incidents or who has any information to contact them in Lisburn on 0845 600 8000.
