ROTA CHEMIST DETAILS FOR CHRISTMAS PERIOD

TWO Lisburn chemists will open for short periods on Christmas Day to dispense urgent prescriptions.

Gordons at 164 Longstone Street will open from 11.00am to 1.00pm while Pond Park Pharmacy at 2A Ballymacash Road will open from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

People in the Dunmurry and Finaghy areas can have prescriptions dispensed at Harte's Chemist on Finaghy Road South between 11.00am and 1.00pm.

Between 4.00pm and 6.00pm the nearest chemist available will be Medicare (Osborne) at 366A Lisburn Road.

Harte's and Medicare will open at the same times on Boxing Day. However, there will be no rota chemist in Lisburn itself.

All four of these businesses provide a domiciliary oxygen service.

There will also be no rota chemist in Lisburn on New Year's Day.

However, people in Dunmurry and Finaghy can use either R. McMullan at 165 Lisburn Road or Coopers Pharmacy at 166 Andersonstown Road.

R. McMullan provides a domiciliary oxygen service.

In addition an on-call service will operate from 6.00pm on Christmas Eve to 11.00am on Christmas Day and from 1.00 to 4.00pm on Christmas Day.
