Police seek help to identify ‘flasher’
DUNMURRY police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man who has been involved in a number of ‘flashing’ incidents in the Poleglass area in recent months.
A number of people have reported being approached in the Colinvale/Altan Close and Glenkeen areas by a brown haired male in his late teens or early 20s who exposes himself before running away. Many of the incidents have occurred on weekends between 8pm and 10pm and on some occasions the male has been carrying a torch.
Police are extremely keen to identify this male and apprehend him. Officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they know who this male is or anyone with information that could assist the investigation. They can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
Dunmurry Neighbourhood officers will also be conducting additional patrols in the area and are encouraging local people to speak with them if they have any concerns or if they would like to share any information.
