Older people’s survey

VOLUNTEERS from the Lisburn SAFE project will be working in partnership with the South Eastern Heath and Social Care Trust to roll out an older people’s survey across the Old Warren, Hilden, Hillhall and Maze areas.

The purpose of the survey is to ask older people living in these areas about their needs and to get advice and support to them should they need it.

The community safety volunteers will use the opportunity of meeting with the older people to highlight the importance of checking the identification of anyone they don’t know calling to their property.

The volunteers will give out information on the Freephone caller ID Quick Check service in which the Lisburn SAFE project is now registered. Anyone wanting to check the ID of a caller claiming to be from an organisation or company can ring the Freephone number 0800 013 22 90.
