Maghaberry WI dine at the Templeton

THE MAGHABERRY WI went on a trip to the Templeton Hotel for lunch and then on to theatre at the Mill for an enjoyable afternoon with Peter Corry as part of their December meeting.

The trip was enjoyed by all and put everyone in the mood for Christmas with a lovely meal, festive decorations at the hotel followed by seasonal music in the afternoon.

For their January meeting, their guest speaker was Julie Jordan from Riding for the Disabled, ably assisted by Henry. Julie gave a very interesting talk showing slides of various locations. They all learned a lot about the workings of the organisation and who they help.

A note was made to remember Ina Watson in their thoughts and prayers on the recent death of her son.

During the evening a bring and buy sale was held and also a quiz to keep their minds active.
