Lisburn City Library hosting Mood Matters workshop

LISBURN City Library will hold a Mood Matters workshop on Wednesday, November 28, from 10.30am-12pm.

This Mood Matters workshop takes a short and enjoyable look at ways to keep focused on mental wellbeing throughout life, how to take steps to stay positive and live life to the full, with information on help available when needed.

The course is run by Aware Defeat Depression, one of Libraries NI’s partners in Health in Mind, a project which promotes positive mental health and wellbeing.

This workshop is free and everyone is welcome - you can book your free place with staff at the library or just come along on the day.

The Health in Mind Partnership is funded under the Big Lottery Fund’s Live and Learn programme to work together to reduce the stigma attached to mental illness by improving the understanding of mental health in the community and by providing opportunities to join in activities.

For more information, contact Lisburn City Library on 9263 3350 or email lisburncity.library@librariesni.org.uk.
