Friends’ pupil wins SEELB Christmas card design competition

FRIENDS’ School pupil Caitlin Lenfesty was the top prize winner in the SEELB’s annual Christmas Card design competion.

The Chief Executive of the South Eastern Education and Library Board, Gregory Butler, visited Friends’ School to present Caitlin with a framed copy of her winning design.

Ms Paula McPoland, Head of the Art and Design Department at Friends’ commended Caitlin on her success: “As a Year 8 pupil, it is a wonderful achievement for Caitlin to win the post-primary section of this competition. Using collage and mixed-media, she has created a distinctive design which captures the spirit of Christmas.”
