Film screening

TO mark Holocaust Memorial Day Lisburn City Council will be screening the powerful and provocative film ‘Judgement at Nuremberg’ on Monday January 28 at 7.30pm in the Studio Theatre, Island Arts Centre.

The movie, nominated for eleven Oscars including Best Picture, sheds a controversial light on the darkest era in modern history.

In keeping with the Holocaust theme Lisburn City Council is running a ‘Facing History and Ourselves’ course in March, in association with WAVE Trauma Centre. This course will explore the lessons learned from violence and genocide.
