Dicky Brown Loyal says thank-you

THE Dicky Brown Loyal would like to thank everyone who attended their flag unveiling and charity evening held in the Ballymacash Orange Hall last Friday night.

A new flag was dedicated in memory of the club’s dear friend Dicky Brown which will be brought to Ibrox this Saturday and proudly flown inside and outside the grounds.

It was a great success with over a £1,300 raised in total. The club would like to thank everyone for their kind donations.

All the money will go to two chosen charities - Horizions and Cetuximab (which is a drug a friend of the club is using to fight cancer which is not funded by the NHS).

Ian Gilbert of the club said, “Dicky Brown was a great friend and person to a lot of people from the Ballymacash Lisburn area and further afield.

“He’ll always be remembered by his friends and family but sadly he left us far to early,he was a die hard Glasgow Rangers fan and this is the reason we had the flag made in his memory.”
