Cuppa for charity

LISNAGARVEY Operatic Society are hosting an ‘Afternoon Tea’ charity event on Saturday (March 23).

The popular local company, who will be staging Annie Get Your Gun at the Island Hall in April, are raising money for Cystic Fibrosis.

The ‘Afternoon Tea’ will be held at the Masonic Hall on the Belsize Road in Lisburn on Saturday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm.

As well as sandwiches, traybakes, tea and coffee, there will also be a ballot, with prizes kindly donated by local businesses.
