Country Gospel Music at Moira Baptist Church

CBM UK, the overseas disability charity, is hosting an evening of country gospel music at Moira Baptist Church on Friday, April 12, at 7.30pm.

Help celebrate the message of faith, love and hope with performances from the talented Christian performer, Amy Roberts and one of the most popular Country Gospel groups in the British Isles, Live Issue.

Amy Roberts is a devoted wife and mother who for many years has thrilled audiences as a talented entertainer in the field of music and song. It is Amy’s fervent hope that the Gospel Message she brings through testimony and song dedicated in prayer to the Glory of God, may be a source of much spiritual blessing to many.

Eric Clarke, CBM’s Country Manager for Northern Ireland said,“ Music is an international language which we are using to show the international ministry of CBM, demonstrating the love of God in very practical ways to help people in the poorest parts of the world.”

Live Issue comprises Colin Elliott, Roy Dreaning, Sam Armstrong, Carl Sands and recent recruit, Ivan McLernon. Live Issue has shared the stage with Country legends such as David Frizzell, Joanne Cash, Ricky Skaggs, Charlie Louvin and Jimmy Fortune, from the Statler Brothers; and their live performances in Nashville have been broadcast across the world on WSM Radio and Music City Television.

Live Issue is considered by many to be one of the most popular Country Gospel groups in the British Isles, not only for their musical and singing ability but also for their warmth, humility, sense of humour and love for the Lord.

Ticket prices are £10, and can be purchased from any of the Faith Mission Bookshops in Lisburn, Lurgan, Banbridge and Portadown.
