Appeal for information following incident at Blaris Park

POLICE in Lisburn are appealing for information after a man demanded money from a teenager and falsely imprisoned her at Blaris Park on Sunday.

At 10.50pm the 18-year-old woman was using a public telephone box when a foreign man kept the door closed from the outside and demanded money.

A passerby shouted at the man and he ran off empty handed. The 18-year old-woman was not injured in the incident.

The man is described as being approximately 25-years-old, about 5’4” tall, of slim build, with dark skin.
