It was a joyous occasion at the Policing with the Community Carol Service that took place recently, at Christ Church, Lisburn.
The event was organised on behalf of Lisburn Area Commander, Chief Inspector Darrin Jones.
Among some of the guests who attended were by The Mayor, Margaret Tolerton, local MLA’s and Councillors, community groups, partner organisations and agencies and police officers and staff.
The orchestra was provided by Friends School Orchestra and was accompanied by Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School choir.
Speaking about the event, Chief Inspector Darrin Jones said that he hoped the service would help bring goodwill throughout the community.
“Today’s carol service has provided a wonderful opportunity to bring together people across all our communities to celebrate Christmas together, in friendship and with goodwill,” he said.
“In looking forward to next year, I take this opportunity to wish everyone throughout the Lisburn area a Happy Christmas and a peaceful and safe New Year.”
